WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- A woman accused in the disappearance and presumed death of her 6-year-old son will be formally arraigned on a first-degree murder count in November.

Katherine Rutan, also known as Katherine Pollard, was scheduled for a court date on October 5th.

But District Judge Ray Dean Linder signed an order on Thursday to continue the hearing until November 2nd.

Rutan is accused in the June 2002 disappearance of Logan Tucker. Despite numerous searches, the boy's body hasn't been found.

Authorities arrested Rutan in February in Dewey County, where she was living.

Rutan was ordered bound over for trial following her preliminary hearing in August. She remains in jail on $250,000 bond.

Her attorney, Larry Jordan, filed the motion to continue, saying more time was necessary to read the transcript from the preliminary hearing and to prepare needed motions.

The state didn't object to the motion.
