DALLAS (AP) _ Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson and Oklahoma State punter Matt Fodge are Big 12 players of the week this week.

Peterson wins the offensive player of the week award for the second straight week after running for 211 yards in Saturday's loss at Oregon. He ran for 145 yards in the fourth quarter alone.

Fodge wins the special teams player of the week award after averaging more than 51 yards per punt on five kicks, including a 70-yard punt in OSU's win over Florida Atlantic.

Defensive end Brian Smith of Missouri is the defensive player of the week.
