NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Two Norman high schools Monday received plaques of the Bill of Rights that were donated by the Norman-based Bill of Rights Democracy Project.

The Democracy Project spent more than $4,000 each for the 3-foot-by-4-foot plaques that were given to Norman North and Norman High School.

Officials with the Demcracy Project say this is the first of what they hope will be numerous presentations of similar plaques to schools statewide.

They say they're already working to provide a plaque in the near future to Chickasha schools.
