Top Shawnee High School quarterback may be out for season

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ One of the top high school quarterbacks in Oklahoma may be out for the season with a knee injury.

Shawnee quarterback Tucker Brown will miss at least a few games and says he doesn't know what will happen after that. Doctors say they can't determine how severe the injury is because of swelling.

Brown injured the knee during the third quarter of last Friday's game against Noble when he made a cut. he says it didn't hurt at the time but later started hurting and swelling.

Brown is being recruited by several Big 12 schools plus Arkansas and Tulsa.
