OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The trial of former state Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher on charges of filing a false income tax return is being delayed.

Fisher was to go on trial Monday in Oklahoma County District Court but it is being postponed until December 11th.

No reason for the delay was given.

Fisher was convicted in February on charges of embezzling from his campaign funds and of perjury. He was sentenced to three years in prison but remains free on bail pending appeals.
