The suspect charged in the near fatal stabbing of an Oologah-Talala paramedic scheduled for a Rogers County courtroom Monday has been delayed.
Allen Weddle faces several charges including assault and battery with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery.
Authorities say in May of last year, Weddle walked up to the station where the EMT's were on break, pulled out a knife and demanded morphine from 24-year-old Emily O'Banion. When she said she didn't have any, police say Weddle stabbed her.
O'Banion has recovered from her injuries.
Court officials say the hearing has been rescheduled for October 23rd.
