OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Investigators say alcohol probably didn't play a role in a Labor Day weekend boat crash on Lake Texoma that killed five people.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain George Green says an ice chest recovered out of one of the boats only had ice water and diet soft drinks inside.
Green says the drivers of both boats had reputations as non-drinkers.
Rockwall, Texas, residents Gordon Mineo and Ann Mineo and Amy Dawn Lane and Justin -R- Lane of Little Elm, Texas, were all on one boat and died.
Myra Gibson of Old Hickory, Tennessee, died on the other boat, which was driven by her husband, Bruce. He remains in fair condition at a Dallas hospital.
The boats were participating in the "Highroller Poker Run" when the accident occurred Saturday afternoon near Willis.
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office says autopsies weren't done on any of the victims, but it's clear they died of impact injuries and didn't drown.
