A public meeting Wednesday could bring much needed help for Oklahoma homeowners facing a frustrating problem.

Charles McKee hasn't had gas service to his Tulsa home since February. Oklahoma Natural Gas detected gas coming up from the ground, but it wasn't from one of its lines.

McKee says as a safety precaution, gas service for his home and his neighbor's had to be shut down until the source could be found and fixed. "This could happen to you, just as easily as it happened to me. I just had the bad luck to be the one that had the gas in the dirt."

Wednesday, the state Corporation Commission will take input on how best to spend $200,000 from a newly created Corporation Commission gas seep fund.

The meeting is at 10 AM at the Kerr Auditorium at the State Office Building located at 440 South Houston in Tulsa.
