WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Seung Jun Song allows only 3 hits in 7 innings and combines with Cody Smith on a shutout as the Wichita Wranglers beat the Tulsa Drillers 3 to 0.
Tulsa was playing its first game without one of its stars, shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was promoted from AA to the major leagues Tuesday by the Colorado Rockies.
Wichita scored single runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings Wednesday.
Song walked 4 and struck out 4. Smith allowed 2 hits in 2 innings while recording his fourth save of the baseball season.
