STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A Pawnee County man is being ordered to stand trial in Payne County on charges he raped a girl who was placed in his home as a foster child and that he later adopted.
Lewis Ely is charged with rape and sodomy of the girl who was 11 when she was placed in his home eight years ago.
The now 19-year-old testified during a preliminary hearing that Ely began sexually assaulting her about a month after she moved into the home.
She also says Ely is the father of the baby she had when she was 15.
