WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Seung Jun Song allowed only three hits in seven innings and combined with Cody Smith on a shutout as the Wichita Wranglers beat the Tulsa Drillers 3-0 on Wednesday.
Tulsa was playing its first game without one of its stars, shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was promoted from Class AA to the major leagues Tuesday by the Colorado Rockies.
Wichita scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings.
Song (5-10) walked four and struck out four. Smith allowed two hits in two innings while recording his fourth save of the baseball season.
Enmanuel Ulloa (7-6) took the loss for the Drillers.
Tulsa and Wichita will close the regular season with four more games against each other, then will meet in a best-of-five Texas League playoff series.
