One Green Country man has found a way to beat high gas prices. Paul Kuykendall of Owasso bought a pair of Diamo scooters because he says they looked neat, but an added plus is that they get about 80 miles to the gallon.
Kuykendall says the Chinese made scooters are popular in Asia and Europe. He expects them to become more widely used in the US because of the ever increasing price of gas. "I got these a week ago and since then, gas has gone up 30 cents a gallon, so it's even a better deal now."
The scooters cost less than $4,000. Kuykendall only expects to spend $250 for gas, all year.
