ADA, Okla. (AP) -- A judge sentenced a man Tuesday to life in prison plus 320 years for a racially charged, hit-and-run collision that killed an East Central University football player, paralyzed another student and injured others.

Ammon Reich, 44, was convicted August 5th of second-degree murder and 32 counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

District Judge Tom Landrith sentenced Reich to ten years on each of the 32 counts, to run consecutively, and gave him a life sentence on the second-degree murder charge.

Reich, of Konawa, was convicted in the death of 18-year-old Joseph Tusan of Arlington, Texas, on September 19th. ECU student, Dennis Scales, was left a quadriplegic following the collision.
