OKEMAH, Okla. (AP) _ A former Okemah utility billing clerk has been ordered to pay 100-thousand dollars in restitution for embezzling more than 186-thousand dollars.
Officials say she overcharged customers for water services.
Rhonda Jones pleaded no contest in September to 22 counts of embezzlement and 11 counts of obtaining money by false pretense.
District Judge John Maley ordered Jones on Thursday to serve six years on an unsupervised deferred sentence in addition to the restitution.
