One dead in crash near Bristow

BRISTOW, Okla. (AP) -- One person is dead following an early Wednesday accident on the Turner Turnpike in Creek County.

The name of the victim hasn't been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the victim was a passenger in an eastbound van driven by Chris Boudreaux of Collinsville. The van ran off the Turnpike near Bristow and hit a tree.

Troopers say Boudreaux is hospitalized in Tulsa in fair condition.
