Authorities are hoping money talks in the case of a Tulsa college student murdered last year.
The body of 18-year-old Brittany Phillips was found strangled inside her apartment at the Glen Eagles Apartments in the 9400 block of East 65th Place last October. Tulsa Police say Phillips was also sexually assaulted.
The Carol Sund Carrington Memorial Foundation is offering an additional $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest of the person responsible for Britney's death. Brittney’s mother Maggie Zingman: "Hopefully this person will be caught and sentenced to prison for a long long time, 20 or 30 years. I don't want them to get the death penalty. I want them to sit in a cell; they put me in a cell."
Crimestoppers is also offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Again, they're number is 596-COPS. You can remain anonymous.
