Tulsa man sentenced, fined for running fake bank

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A Tulsa man is sentenced in San Francisco to five years in prison for 12 counts of wire fraud.<br/><br/>32-year-old Matthew Hattabaugh persuaded people to invest more than $650,000

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A Tulsa man is sentenced in San Francisco to five years in prison for 12 counts of wire fraud.

32-year-old Matthew Hattabaugh persuaded people to invest more than $650,000 in a fake bank he ran out of his apartment.

A federal jury convicted Hattabaugh March 30th and he was sentenced Monday.

Hattabaugh will also pay $87,850 in restitution and spend three years on supervised release.
