An investigation is underway into another vehicle hit by some kind of gunfire in the Tulsa area.

This time it was on 51st Street near state Highway 97 in Sand Springs. It happened at 4 PM Thursday.

A woman was driving on 51st Street when the window on her door shattered. It had been hit by a small projectile, what officers believe was a BB or pellet.

Passenger in the car, Paige Mainard: "So, we just knew automatically it was a gun, and I mean a rock, it could have done something like that but we've been hit by a rock before and we know it wasn't a rock.”

A Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper drove the area looking for anyone who might have fired the shot, but didn't see anyone. They didn't find whatever it was that hit the window.
