OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The head of the Oklahoma National Guard is concerned about proposals to move Air National Guard planes out of Oklahoma City's Air National Guard Wing.
Major General Harry Wyatt says without the large transport planes the state won't be able to haul supplies or people during emergencies.
The Base Realignment and Closure Commission proposes moving two squadrons from the 137th Airlift Wing at Will Rogers World Airport to bases in Missouri and Texas. The commission also proposes moving the 137th's eight C-130 transport planes while transferring four KC-135 refueling planes to Oklahoma.
