A Tulsa abortion clinic has lost two separate cases before the appeals court in Denver.

Nova Health Systems was challenging two state laws dealing with parental notification before a minor can undergo an abortion. A two judge panel has denied Nova's request to stop the parental notification law.

In addition, it upheld a 2001 law making abortion providers liable for medical costs resulting from abortions performed on minors without parental consent.

Nova operates under the name Reproductive Services.
