Money for education is making headlines in Tulsa.
Tulsa Public Schools will ask voters to approve a $160-million school bond in November. The school district wants to invest more than $116-million on new and improved facilities.
Another $10-million on updating libraries throughout the district. School officials identify about $30-million needed for textbooks and technology. And $6.5-million for transportation.
The last Tulsa school bond was passed in 2001.
