OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Air Force is sending equipment to Oklahoma City to keep it safe from Hurricane Dennis.

Tyndall Air Force Base in the Florida Panhandle has sent some of its F-15 Eagles to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City and others to Fort Worth, Texas.

Other aircrafts have been moved to Arkansas and Ohio.

Tinker also housed some of Tyndall's F-15s during Hurricane Ivan last year. Aircrafts from North Carolina have also used Tinker during Hurricane Isabel in 2003 and Hurricane Charley last year.
