OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ US Senate negotiators have reached agreement on some key points in a transportation bill that will include projects for Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe won't say if he's seeking special project money for specific transportation projects. But Inhofe says he's hoping to do a good job for the state.
Negotiators have agreed that states like Oklahoma that pay more in federal highway taxes than they receive in construction money will receive at least 92 cents back for each dollar paid.
Inhofe is vice chairman of the House-Senate conference committee that's writing a final version of the $286.4-billion bill.
