He's the second Tulsa child killed in less than a week. A Tulsa mother is in jail this evening, accused of killing her six year-old son.

The police say she confessed to stabbing her son to death because she says someone else was going to do it. Police believe Sheilla Shea has a history of mental illness. She's now in Tulsa County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Officers were called to her home on the 800 block of North Madison around 7:30 this morning. The police report says she was sitting on her curb with blood on her clothing and hands. Police say 6-year-old Patrick Shea was taken to a relative who lived nearby.

Sgt Rick Bondy: "Found a six-year-old male stabbed several times in the chest at this point he has succombed to his injuries."

Little Patrick died at the hospital. His family did not want to talk on camera but they said the little boy was very much loved. If what the suspect told police is true, this could have ended with several people dead. The police report states Shea told officers she was also going to kill her other children and then herself.
