MANGUM, Okla. (AP) -- A killer who escaped from an Oklahoma prison with an assistant warden's wife more than ten years ago waived a preliminary court hearing Monday on escape charges.

That means Randolph Dial will stand trial for escaping from custody of Oklahoma's Department of Corrections. His formal arraignment will be August 4th in Greer County, Oklahoma.

Dial was serving life in prison for murder when he and Bobbi Parker disappeared on August 30th, 1994, from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite, Oklahoma. That's where Parker's husband, Randy, was assistant warden.

The two were found in April working at an East Texas chicken farm.

Both Dial and Mrs. Parker say Dial forced Parker to go with him and that he kept her with him by threatening to harm her family.

Dial is now in Oklahoma state custody. Bobbi Parker hasn't been charged with any crime and has reunited with her husband. He's now warden of the William S- Key Correctional Center at Fort Supply, Oklahoma.
