Is he or is he not responsible for the murders of two Welch teenagers. That's what Craig County authorities are trying to figure out.
The latest guessing game comes from suspected serial killer Jeremy Jones. Authorities recently said Jones admitted he killed Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible in 1999. They disappeared after Freeman's parents were found murdered in their burned out mobile home.
Jones is now in an Alabama jail cell and he now tells the Joplin Globe he's never killed anyone. He also says detectives are wasting their time in their upcoming search for the girls' remains. That search is supposed to begin in two weeks.
Jones is charged with murders in Alabama, Louisiana and Georgia.
