OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) S-B-C Communications plans to sell its Oklahoma headquarters building and move 125 employees to separate office buildings in Oklahoma City.
S-B-C sold its headquarters building to Oklahoma Farmers Mutual Insurance Company for an undisclosed amount. The transaction is expected to close later this year.
S-B-C Oklahoma President Don Cain says officials think consolidating its downtown Oklahoma City operations to its complex along Dean A McGee Avenue will allow the company to operate more efficiently and effectively.
The building being sold is about two blocks from the former site of the April 1995 bombing that killed 168.
It was used to house search-and-rescue workers in the bombing's aftermath.
