A Tulsa man who was threatening to jump off a downtown rooftop, is being evaluated at the hospital. Tulsa Police used a taser to keep from jumping.
Police talked to the man for nearly three hours Monday morning on top of a building at 4th and Main. Officers say when the man started getting angry, they decided to take action. Tulsa Police Sgt Stephen Boyes: "When I decided to hit him with it, I was just praying the whole time, please don't let him fall off the building when we hit him, hopefully we can get to him and grab him and pull him back and luckily it worked out for us."
Police told the News on 6, his name was Alex and he was upset over a gambling addiction.
