An Oklahoman who knows all about the limelight is tying the knot with his longtime sweetheart.

Garth Brooks proposed to fellow country music star Trisha Yearwood Wednesday night in Bakersfield, California. Following tradition, Garth got down on one knee to ask the big question. And she, of course, said "Yes".

It was a small get-together, only about 7,000 people were there. They were attending the unveiling of several bronze statues of country music greats, including one of Garth.
