MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Suspected serial killer Jeremy Jones of Miami pleaded innocent Tuesday to a capital murder charge in Mobile, Alabama.
Jones was then ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Jones is charged in Alabama with raping a killing a woman, then setting her home on fire. He's also charged with murders in Georgia and Louisiana.
Jones has been called "a person of interest" in killings in Oklahoma, including the December 1999 deaths of Danny and Kathy Freeman of Welch and the disappearance of the Freeman's daughter, Ashley, and her friend Lauria Bible.
