OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) For only the second time in its history, the Aerospace America air show has been canceled.

Organizers say they hope money saved by not holding the show can be used to pay debts and bring the show back.

The 2001 show was canceled after a rainout the previous year.

Board members decided last week to cancel Aerospace America 2005 to pay the latest debt and raise money for Aerospace America 2006 and 2007.

Organizers said they hope to return the event to Oklahoma City in 2006.
