OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Nearly 600 fugitives are arrested in Oklahoma as part of a nationwide roundup in which more than 10,000 fugitives were apprehended.
Officials say 221 fugitives were arrested in the state's Western District, headquartered in Oklahoma City. Another 124 people were arrested in the state's Northern District based in Tulsa, and 241 arrests were made in the Eastern District headquartered in Muskogee.
Northern District Marshall Tim Welch says Oklahoma ranked third in the nation in arrests made during the roundup.

Among those captured were 150 gang members and 100 unregistered sex offenders.
