A surprise twist in a Wednesday morning robbery at the Oklahoma Employees Credit Union.
Tulsa Police say a man walked into the credit union at 7th and Houston, put a bag on the counter, said it was a bomb and showed the teller a remote control.
Tulsa Police say the robber said he would blow the bank up if they didn't give him money. When the teller didn't respond quickly enough, police say the robber took matters into his own hands.
Tulsa Police officer Scott Walton: "The suspect went behind the counter and took money himself from the drawer."
The credit union was evacuated while bomb dogs and an X-ray machine checked out the bag, turns out, it was full of books.
