A Tulsa firefighter was injured fighting a house fire Monday morning.

The fire damaged two homes in the 1400 block of 111th East Avenue.

Firefighter Nicholas Swainston was inside one of the homes, when he stepped over some burning rubble.
The fire rolled up his pants, burning him on the inside of his legs.

He was taken to a Tulsa hospital, but is expected to be okay.
