Tulsa Police are investigating what led to a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

It happened just before 11 PM Sunday at the Normandy Apartments in the 6200 block of East 38th Street.

Police say the victim was approached by an acquaintance and was shot once. The victim was taken to the hospital by his mother, his injury is said to be not life threatening.

Officers say the suspect was last seen running away.
