An 81-year-old Okmulgee County man has died from injuries he suffered in a fire over the weekend near Beggs.

Investigators say Ed Andrews was working on an oil rig's electrical box when it shorted out, knocking him unconscious. The sparks from the wires set the grass on fire, which in turned burned Andrews.

Andrews was flown by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he died late Wednesday night.
