OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A teenager is in custody after a fire Wednesday morning forced the evacuation of a south Oklahoma City high school.
Fire Major Brian Stanaland says there are no injuries after about 1,400 students and teachers at US Grant High School were forced to leave the building because of the fire in a shed near the school.
Stanaland says investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and 18-year-old Brandon Dodd of Oklahoma City has been arrested.
It isn't known if Dodd is a student at the school.
Stanaland says the shed holds football equipment and is near the school gymnasium. He says there is smoke in the gym, but the gym is not on fire.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
