OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) With the 2006 legislative session, a new Web site has been created to make the process more accessible to the general public.

OKInsider.com is a partnership between Oklahoma Publishing Today and NewsOK.com. The Web site explains the legislative process in simple terms, translates legal jargon and offers tutorials and children's content.

Oklahoma Publishing Today chief executive Darwin Maxey says the goal of the site is to explain the legislative process in language everyone can understand.

Some the site's features include real-time updates and live audio feeds to let users know within moments when action is taken on a bill.

Senate Minority Leader Glenn Coffee says the site will allow citizens a hands-on opportunity with legislation.
