A tribute to Oklahomans killed in Iraq. The 31 fallen troops were remembered in a Peace walk at the Oklahoma City National Memorial Sunday.
The walk was organized by the Peace House, a group of citizens who are concerned about the war in Iraq. Some who made the walk did so with 31 boots, each to symbolize an Oklahoma serviceman killed in Iraq.
Pastor Moses Mast: "we don’t' have the answer to the war but this is what violence has brought us empty boots and so we respect them but we also say and we try to say thought we don't have a solution we like to say lets practice non violence."
The peace walk was also to remember the teachings of Martin Luther King Junior and Mahatma Gandhi.
