If it ever rains in Green Country again, we know some folks who will be ready. KXOJ Radio in Tulsa declared Friday, "take your umbrella to work" day.
They handed out umbrellas to folks at a south Tulsa QuikTrip, reminding people to pray for much needed rain.
Sean Copeland with KXOJ Radio: "Alright goofy, it's not raining, why you are taking your umbrella to work? It's kind of a nice conversation starter. Well, because I listen to KXOJ and they said take your umbrella to work and it's a reminder to pray for rain."
The folks from KXOJ tell the News on 6, they gave away 95 umbrellas Friday.
