WASHINGTON (AP) _ If you have a Fisher-Price brand ''Laugh and Learn Musical Learning Chair'', listen up. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of more than 600,000 of the infant toys.
The concern is that a child can get caught between the seatback and the side table of the chair, raising the risk of strangulation.
Mattel-unit Fisher-Price has had three reports of children getting their necks lodged, one of them received a welt on their neck.
The toy is designed for children aged twelve to 36 months of age.
Consumers are advised to take the chair away from children immediately, and to contact the manufacturing to get a kit aimed at preventing the possibility of getting stuck.
If you want to check to see if you're covered by the recall, there's more information on the Mattel web site.
