Former Tulsa pastor charged with lewdness in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City authorities have filed a charge in the case involving a former Tulsa pastor accused of soliciting sex from a police officer. <br/><br/>Lonnie Latham was charged Wednesday with lewdness.

Oklahoma City authorities have filed a charge in the case involving a former Tulsa pastor accused of soliciting sex from a police officer.

Lonnie Latham was charged Wednesday with lewdness. Latham was arrested last week in Oklahoma City.

He resigned as pastor of the South Tulsa Baptist Church and from positions with the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Oklahoma County DA says Latham faces up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine if convicted.
