OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former state Labor Department attorney says he'll be a Republican candidate for Oklahoma attorney general.<br/><br/>Kevin Able resigned from the Labor Department on Tuesday.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former state Labor Department attorney says he'll be a Republican candidate for Oklahoma attorney general.

Kevin Able resigned from the Labor Department on Tuesday. He's been the department's general counsel since 1998.

Current Attorney General Drew Edmondson is a Democrat. He hasn't made a formal announcement for re-election but has been raising campaign funds and is expected to run.
