One man is in the Tulsa County jail after taking police on a short chase.

Tulsa Police officers responding to a disturbance call near 6th and Lewis, say one of the men involved, drove off taking police on a short and bumpy chase.

Authorities say the man jumped a curb, and then hit a tree and a gas meter. He wound up crashing into the front porch of a house near 5th Place and Zunis. The man took off running, but was caught nearby.

Officers say they found drugs the suspect threw away during the chase.
