A high speed chase across Tulsa landed one person in custody overnight. It all started shortly after 1 AM in east Tulsa, when an officer checked out a suspicious vehicle. He discovered the tag on the vehicle was stolen.

The suspect drove off and sped his way toward downtown on the Broken Arrow Expressway. At one point, a tire popped and he drove on the rim for quite a while. The chase ended on Southwest Boulevard, where the suspect, Jim Napier was arrested.

Tulsa Police say Napier was wanted for outstanding warrants out of state. Officers found a BB gun under the seat. Napier was taken by EMSA to a local hospital, after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath.

Another chase in west Tulsa sent two people to the Tulsa County jail overnight. It started when an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper spotted a car that had been stolen earlier this month.

The chase wound its way through the Gilcrease area, where the driver ran off on foot. A canine officer found the suspect on West Easton.

A passenger was also arrested. The driver was treated for some cuts, but will be okay.
