The Tulsa Police Department is excited about 30 new officers.

The cadets took the oath of office Wednesday afternoon during their police academy graduation. Mayor Bill LaFortune and Police Chief Dave Been were on hand to congratulate and welcome the new recruits into the force.

This academy class went through six months of intense training and they still have more to do before they hit the streets alone.
