A car lost a tire on the Broken Arrow Expressway which resulted in a chain reaction of accidents.

Tulsa Police say the tire bounced across the median into the eastbound lanes and hit a pickup's windshield. The driver of the pickup then hit a retaining wall and drove along it for more than 150 feet. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Drivers trying to avoid that accident, caused two others behind it. Those people suffered only minor injuries.
