PORUM, Okla. (AP) -- A 19-year-old Stigler woman was killed when the sport utility vehicle she was riding in ran off the road and rolled three times, ejecting her from the vehicle.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Nellie Bush was pronounced dead at the scene of Sunday’s crash, which happened about 5:15 AM on State Highway 2, just south of Porum in Muskogee County.

The patrol says Bush was a passenger in vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jenny Callison of Stigler. The patrol says Callison apparently fell asleep, ran off the road and then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn three times.

Both Callison and Bush were ejected from the vehicle. Callison managed to walk to a nearby residence for help. She later was flown by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was listed in stable condition Sunday.
