An early Wednesday morning police chase that wound its way through Tulsa lands one man behind bars.

It all started shortly before 3:30 AM when a woman called and said her boyfriend had beaten her up. An officer spotted the man's car and gave chase. It ended when the suspect hit a curb at I-44 and Sheridan.

The man tried to run off, but Tulsa Police found him hiding nearby. They found a gun and drugs inside the car.

One officer's car was damaged when he hit a telephone pole during the chase. No one was hurt.
