OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State finance officials say Oklahoma collected more revenue than expected in October and collections are above year-ago levels.
State Treasurer Scott Meacham says the increase is due largely to strong income tax collections.
Meacham says the state collected just more than $427.5-million -- $29-million more than October 2004 and nearly $17-million above the official forecast.
Meacham says the increasing revenue shows the state's economy is healthy.
